I bought my first pair of Maui Jim’s 6 years ago. The first pair were outstanding quality- they just felt sturdy as soon as you open the arms. I still have them, they’ve just been thru a lot and I wanted something new. I decided on these and I was super disappointed. The quality is just not there like the first pair. These feel light like sunglasses from the gas station and the arms don’t open as smooth. They have an odd nose pad and the pair I got had a sharp defect in the paint there. The only positive about these glasses are the lenses- they are very clear however, not as dark as my old lenses. I just didn’t feel like the price matched the quality of the glasses and they were defective so I returned them. I ended up buying the Isola model of Maui Jim’s somewhere else and they are fabulous and fantastic quality like my first pair.

return policy is terrible

If you purchase sunglasses online and you don't like how it looks, it's a pain to return them. After calling the customer service line, they have to request a return shipping label which takes 3-5 business days to receive via email. Worst of all is that you can't even return in store because the store can't even process an immediate return. Rather, they have to call customer service (just like you) and request a return label which takes 3-5 business days. What kind of return system do you have? So long story short, it's been 5 business days and have not received my label. Checked my inbox and spam, and nothing. I called them back and all they could do is submit another request and advised that I needed to wait another 3-5 business days. This will be the last time order with them. Please be aware before making a huge mistake like I did.

Comfortable and protective

I love that it's light weight, nonslip and polarized. Very comfortable to play tennis with. Perfect!
