The third edition of these iconic shield frames continues to incorporate the latest trends from Balmain’s offerings, while pushing the envelope by adapting impressive breakthroughs in eyewear engineering. With a slickly modern structural twist, the Akoni Group team and Olivier Rousteing have topped off the Wonder Boy III with a new protruding lens visor, constructed from the finest Japanese titanium, allowing for an even more powerful silhouette. Any true Balmain Army member can quickly recognize the singular amplified spirit and iconic color choices of the house—but if you need any more hints of the provenance of the Wonder Boy, the striking side shields, covered with the unmistakable pattern of the historic Balmain Labyrinth motif, make it very clear that this is a Balmain design. Colors are key. The black and gold options channel iconic colors of the house and a new striking red-mirrored design reflects the bold spirit of some of the most important recent designs that Rousteing has sent down the runway.
